Canberra was an amazing place. It opened our eyes to a lot of Australia’s history and how it came to what it is today. Some of the places we went to was the Australian Electoral Centre (AEC) inside Old Parliament House. We saw how democracy works, the history of it all, how people got a say in democracy and what happened throughout the years. After that we visited New Parliament House. We got to see where the House of Representatives and where the Senate chambers were although no Parliament members were there.
