The Narrandera Shire Council has agreed to write to the Premier, the NSW Treasurer and the NSW Minister for Local Government asking that they urgently address the recent cost shifting through a combination of regulatory reform and appropriate funding.

“The pressure on councils to maintain services of appropriate standar
