Boort artist John Piccoli or the Spannerman as he was widely known, died suddenly on April 22 leaving his family, fans and Boort locals to grieve and celebrate a caring man and master of a unique art form.

Mr Piccoli was known for his sculptures made out of spanners and was an exh
