Narrandera Shire Council has approved the construction of commercial storage sheds at 16 Redgum Street, Narrandera, including all variations to the Narrandera Development Control Plan (NDCP).

It was agreed that the proposed development was unlikely to have any unreasonable impact on the environment, and where an adverse impact was identified appropriate conditions have been imposed to mitigate the effects

The subject site was also considered suitable for the proposed development.

The proposed development complied with the Narrandera Local Environmental Plan 2013 and with the Development Control Plan, except for part 9.5 Building Setbacks in which a variation was requested.

The Council assessment concluded that the requested variation was suitable for approval, subject to conditions, with no valid planning reasons to refuse the application.
