Murrumbidgee Medical and Primary Care Centre at Leeton has appointed two new full time General Practitioners.

Dr Dinuka Seneviratne who is back in the town after finishing work in both Griffith Base and Newcastle Hospitals emergency departments. His interests are in general medicine and minor surgical procedures and is enjoying be back in town with his family permanently.

The practice also welcomed Dr Lauren who is a new, full time doctor to Leeton. She has moved from Victoria with her family.

Lauren completed an MD and University of Notre Dame Sydney and has trained at Peninsula Health for the last five years.

Her clinical interests include general medicine, adolescent and women’s health including breastfeeding medicine.

Lauren is looking forward to getting to know the local area and gaining lots of tips about where to start.
