An evening of Irish storytelling and culture through dancing and music will set the Morundah Paradise Palladium Theatre alight on March 21.
The Morundah Bush Entertainment Committees will host Eireann’s “A Taste of Ireland” concert at the theatre at 7.30 pm.
There will be traditional dancing, singing, and Irish music, demonstrating the Irish spirit in a captivating show.
The public officer for the Morundah Bush Entertainment Committee and venue manager, Dave Fahey said it will be a family friendly show.
“We will have to set the ticket price at $75, as we have to cover show costs and we are working on reduced numbers due to COVID,” Mr Fahey said.
The committee would prefer for people to book in family groups, to organise seating to follow COVID restrictions.
“There will be QR sign in when you come in and hand sanitiser,” Mr Fahey said.
“We will be doing regular cleanings throughout the show.
“Unfortunately, we cannot offer any meals or supper for that evening because we cannot share food.”
Drink services will be provided before, at the interval and after the concert.
For those who are interested in purchasing a ticket, call the Morundah Pub on 6959 7414, preferably in the afternoon due to reduced working hours.
The Morundah Bush Entertainment Committee have recently received a grant for the Paradise Palladium Theatre.
“We were lucky to get the Stronger Country Communities round three, we had close to $200 000,” Mr Fahey said.
“We’ve been applying for it for a long time and were fortunate enough to get it.”
The grant has been used for new seating, air conditioning, more lighting and sound equipment.
New stage curtains, storage shed and concrete pathways connecting the hotel to the venue are coming too.
“COVID has slowed us a little bit, as a lot of our equipment is coming from Victoria,” Mr Fahey said.
