Narrandera High School stage 5 Agriculture students loaded their Angora goats and mohair for an early morning drive to West Wyalong last week.

A total of 15 students, 27 animals and 22 fleeces were entered in various classes including Junior Handlers, Junior Judges, Mohair fleeces and animal classes for does, bucks, wethers and groups.

The group was rewarded for their efforts and returned to school with a swag of ribbons, medals and prizes, as well as an extra doe kid that had to be returned to West Wyalong on Thursday morning.

This was the last show for a year that has been Narrandera High School’s most successful to date.
