Narrandera Imperial Football - Netball Senior and Junior Club has announced Mark Carroll as its senior football coach for the 2024 season.

Carroll brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club.

He has been an academy coach with GWS for over 10 years and has coached Turvey Park U17s to two premierships.

He has also held the senior coaching role at Turvey Park for two years and Coolamon for two years.

Carroll has a strong family connection to the town through his wife Francene who is from Narrandera. Francene’s parents are Barry (Crasher) and Helen Royal who are long standing members of the Eagle family.

Carroll said he is very excited about his role at the club and is looking forward to getting to know all the players and supporters.

Narrandera Eagles have also welcomed back Theo Metcalfe for 2024.

Theo started off his first grade career as a 16 year old at Mangoplah Cookardinia United Eastlakes in 2015 before moving to Narrandera in 2021 and 2022.

He is a popular footballer both on and off the field and a classy midfield who can play both on the inside and outside.

Theo said he is looking forward to having a big pre-season and helping the Eagles climb back up the ladder.
