Josh Hanlon, a proud former boarding student of St Francis Regional College, recently returned to the campus to speak with Years 8, 9, and 10 students.
Josh was a talented Australian Rules footballer before his life took a dramatic turn due to a severe bacterial infection, resulting in the loss of both legs below the knee and his right hand at the wrist.
Since then, he has shown incredible resilience and determination, becoming a Para-alpine skier and a true inspiration to all.
Josh will be honoured on the upcoming commemorative $2 Paralympics coin — a well-deserved recognition of his journey and achievements.
