The Narrandera Showground has a new Trust in place. This will bring stability and forward direction to an important historical and community asset in our town.

The Hon. Stephen Kamper MP, NSW Minister for Lands and Property, made the appointment of the new statutory land manager board members for the Narrandera Showground in October 2025.

The new Trust met for the first time on 20 November 2025 and appointed the following office bearers:

* Chair Hilary Manning

* Deputy chair Phillip Birch

* Treasurer Martin Hiscox

* Public officer Peter Gunn (ex-officio)

* Member Lee Reavley

One of the first priorities of the new Trustees will be to create a long term vision for the Narrandera Showground site, which aligns with the changing needs of the Narrandera community.

Three positions also remain vacant on the Trust. People interested in working to continue the strong legacy of the Narrandera Showground are strongly encouraged to apply.
