Excitement is building for another fun-filled, colourful and lively Narrandera Spring Fair on Saturday 1 November from 5pm to 10pm.

Kick-starting at 5pm in East Street with a warm welcome to everyone, and then food, drinks, local and market-style shopping and entertainment galore throughout the evening until 10pm. All activities are free.

This year’s program will have family, friends and visitors spoilt for choices as community comes together for special times, laughter and a whole ton of fun.

Flyers with the program and map have been distributed around town and are being promoted on Narrandera District Community Radio Spirit FM 91.1 as well as detailed on the Narrandera Business Group Inc socials.

A spectacular ‘Dancing in the Street’ explodes onto the street at 5:15pm with both kids and adults coming together to get the Spring Fair pumping. Everyone who can will be encouraged to join in. It will be an all-in experience, a magical sight to see and a fun time not to be missed.

Sounds of some incredible musicians will fill the streets with local legends Sameera Bashir and Remedy playing on the Garden Stage (adjacent to the Memorial Gardens).

The very talented Kathleen Halloran from Melbourne will entertain with her soulful guitar and powerhouse vocals on stage on the Harvest Stage (middle of East and Douglas Streets).

A first for Narrandera will be the amazing Light display by Sold Out once the sun sets. Sold Out is known for immersive light installations that blend art, storytelling and technology to create unforgettable public experiences.

Their displays are said to spark joy, ignite curiosity and bring people together and this is their first time lighting up Narrandera. Come wander through the glow, snap a few magical photos, and soak up the atmosphere as Kiesling Lane comes alive like never before.

• Sit for a while, choose your favourite dinner from a variety of local restaurants, cafes and delicious food stalls.

• Wander the local shops and market stalls to get some incredible bargains (never too early to start your Christmas shopping).

• Visit the Narrandera Auto Club’s Show N Shine display and let the kids play free in the amusement area.

• Relax at the long dining table, cheer on the Battle of the BBQ, paint your face with The Poisoned Apple or paint with The Wild Easel. Be awed by the stunning Zana Aerial Dance Academy performances (day and night shows and roving acrobats).

There are two separate free workshops – Yield Lot 7 – The Little Bush Kitchen are holding two Indigenous native cooking workshops exploring the Cooking, Growing, and Cultural Significance of bush foods.

The other workshop is the amazing Hayley from The Wild Easel who is providing a glow painting workshop.

The popular and iconic Lions Train can be caught at various points around town. The always supportive and reliable local Narrandera Flag can be booked (call 0475 194 560) to get people to and from the Fair. Take advantage of these transport options to get to the Fair free of charge.

This incredibly magic, full-on program is being made possible by the tremendous efforts of a small group of Narrandera Business Group Inc volunteers. Leanne Ivanoff, Josie Marks, Bec Rowlings, Brenda Hartmire and Cathy Eldridge have been busily coordinating all-things Spring Fair.

In partnership with generous clubs, businesses and organisation colleagues, state and local government, and their family members and friends, this year’s Spring Fair committee is extremely excited to bring this community event to the town.

They particularly want to thank the Narrandera Shire Council’s visitor and events team who have been amazing helping with so many things in the background and the following sponsors that have made this year’s Spring Fair possible:

Gold sponsors: NSW Government ‘Open Streets Program – Department of Transport’, Narrandera Shire Council, Community Bank Narrandera and District, JBS Australia, Devlin Bridge Wind Farm, Bendigo Bank, Hutchins Bros Engineering, The Narrandera Bakery and the Commonwealth Bank.

Silver sponsor: Narrandera Sound and Lighting.

Bronze sponsors: PCR Building Services, Sew Fab, W Clark and Sons, Gallagher Insurance, Mon Repos, Narrandera Jewellers, Murrumbidgee Fire and Safety, Narrandera Signs, Gateway Motor Inn, Skinners Detailing and The Wild Easel.

Shopping in Narrandera is always a lovely experience but it’s been made a little more special with many local businesses offering a chance to win in the ‘Bloom and Win’ shopping promotion.

Spend $20 or more in a participating store and enter the draws with a free ticket.

With regular draws leading up to the Fair and a major draw at the end of the promotion at the 2025 Narrandera Spring Fair, it’s a great way to shop locally first to support Narrandera’s local businesses while, at the same time, being in with a chance to win some terrific prizes (also donated by fantastic local businesses).

The major draws for this promotion will be held during the Spring Fair.

Narrandera’s Spring Fair was a huge success in 2024 receiving so much positive feedback and enormous accolades from locals and many visitors to town.

This year’s Fair is shaping up to be another WOW fun-filled evening for locals and people lucky enough to choose Narrandera and surrounds as a destination to visit, stay at and enjoy.
