Talented young Narrandera golfer Braxton Ivanoff was lucky enough to experience something completely new in his golfing journey and one that he’ll carry with him for a long time.
For the first time, he was invited by the PGA of Australia to compete in a Webex Players Series event.
The tournament at Cobram-Barooga brought together professional golfers, elite juniors and players of all abilities, and Braxton was honoured to be included in the junior component of the field.
Braxton and his family travelled across to the NSW/Victorian border for the weekend and he played both Saturday and Sunday alongside some outstanding golfers.
Beyond the golf itself, the experience offered something truly special – generous conversations, shared knowledge and honest advice from players who have walked the professional path.
From handling nerves, to performing under pressure, to what life in the professional game can look like, Braxton soaked it all in.
It was a big step outside his comfort zone and a meaningful glimpse into the higher level of the game.
Most of all, he genuinely enjoyed the experience and learned so much from it.
