Under 16s

The U16s team continued their strong start to the season with a commanding 40–12 win over the Waratahs.

A huge thank you to the U13s players who step up every week to support the older squad, often playing two games back-to-back - a true testament to their dedication.

It was a true team effort, with standout performances across the park.

Sienna Hudson, a new recruit this year, had an incredible game, reading the play perfectly and scoring five tries. Sienna Lyons also impressed, crossing the line twice and successfully kicking six conversions.

This win reflects the hard work the team has been putting in at training, showing real progress and determination early in the season.

Special thanks to the amazing League Safe, Jaxson Hosie, who turns up every week to assist the teams - this commitment does not go unnoticed!

With continued teamwork, strong training, and growing confidence, both teams are showing promising signs for the season ahead.

Under 13s

While the Under 13s unfortunately went down to the Waratahs, the game showcased a solid defensive performance from Narrandera girls.

They held the line with determination and saw some of their quieter players step up, push into the middle and take on the challenge head-on.

This growth was reflected in the game day awards, with Alice Daniels and Imogen Hunt earning well-deserved recognition. Both girls stood out for finding their confidence and making a real impact on the field. Their performances were a highlight of the match.

Under 7s League Tag

Narrandera Lizards Under 7s League Tag team took to the field for their round 3 clash against the Griffith Waratahs marking their first home game of the season at Narrandera.

With a big team of 15 eager players, everyone had the opportunity to take a turn on the field and enjoy a well-earned rest on the bench.

The young Lizards gave it their all, showing incredible determination by chasing down tags, scoring a few tries, and most importantly, never giving up.

It was fantastic to see the growing confidence in Paisley, Parker, Braxx, and Clara as they navigated the field with more certainty and teamwork.

A special shout-out goes to Phonix and Roman, who both played their first ever game. Their excitement was clear and they each put in a great effort, showing plenty of promise for games to come.

Game day awards went to Havana and Lahraya, who led by example with their endless effort on the field.

They chased tags non-stop and even helped guide their teammates with the dummy half position demonstrating both leadership and teamwork.

It was a great day of football and fun and the future is looking bright for the young Lizards!
